Guardian Search and Rescue (Guardian SAR) is an emerging 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Melbourne, Florida. Our vision is to stand up a professional SAR organization that works alongside local, state, and federal public safety agencies providing trained personnel, specialized equipment, and a dedicated aviation asset to assist during search, rescue, and humanitarian missions when requested.

Guardian SAR is not intended to replace any existing emergency response agency. Our role is to augment their capabilities, adding resources that can be called upon during complex, extended, or resource-intensive operations. We believe strong partnerships, rigorous training, and operational readiness strengthen the emergency response network already serving our community.

What sets Guardian SAR apart isn't the equipment alone it's our commitment to building a complete search and rescue organization grounded in safety, discipline, and service. As our capabilities grow, a dedicated helicopter asset will become one of the tools we bring to bear, helping responders reach survivors who might otherwise be difficult to locate and recover.

Building an organization of this caliber takes careful planning, strong partnerships, and the support of our community. Right now, we're focused on:

• Establishing partnerships with local, state, and federal public safety agencies.
• Preparing our primary mission aircraft, a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter, for operational service.
• Developing crew training programs, operational procedures, and a robust safety management system.
• Integrating search, rescue, communication, and mission support technology.
• Recruiting dedicated volunteers, aviation professionals, medical personnel, and community supporters.
• Building the financial and organizational infrastructure to sustain a professional nonprofit search and rescue organization.
