WHERE WE ARE TODAY
Guardian SAR is in active organizational development, building the foundation that will make full operations possible. Right now, we are:
- Establishing agency partnerships with local, state, and federal public safety organizations
- Configuring our primary mission aircraft: a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter
- Developing crew training programs and operational protocols
- Pursuing equipment integration for advanced rescue and sensor systems
- Growing our volunteer base, donor community, and organizational infrastructure
Full operational capability is projected within 12–18 months. Every contribution, financial or otherwise, directly accelerates this timeline.
Sikorsky S-76B Mission Aircraft | Long-range, twin-engine helicopter with advanced medical interior capable of day/night operations across Florida’s East Coast and offshore maritime zone. |
Airborne Rescue Hoist | Externally mounted hoist system enabling deployment and recovery of rescue personnel and survivors from open water, confined areas, and inaccessible terrain. |
MX-15 EO/IR Sensor System | Stabilized electro-optical/infrared camera providing daylight, low-light, and thermal imaging for detection and tracking of persons, vessels, and critical infrastructure. |
ARTEMIS Phone Detection System | Airborne mobile phone detection technology to assist partner agencies in locating distressed persons, dramatically reducing search time during maritime and missing-person incidents. |
AIS Vessel Tracking & Fusion | Integration of vessel AIS data with airborne sensors creates a real-time maritime operating picture, helping incident commanders identify vessels and reconstruct routes. |
