  1. We are a volunteer maritime search and rescue organization in the Southeastern United States, we are innovative, effective and have an unwavering dedication to saving lives. Through strategic partnerships and community support we strive to expand our reach and capabilities to ensure no distress call goes unanswered

  2. Guardian SAR is not currently looking for volunteers. However, when we are on the lookout for individuals like you wanting to get involved we will post instructions and position types and how to get involved. Keep visiting our "How To Get Involved" section to find out ways to volunteer.

  3. We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law. Visit our Financials page to learn more.

  4. Our organization takes our privacy policy seriously and takes steps to protect and ensure the safety of our supporters. We do not sell or otherwise disclose information about our volunteers or supporters outside of our immediate organization. This policy has no exceptions.   5. Is there a fee for your services?

    As a true 501(c)3 organization we do not charge for our services. We deeply depend on the generosity of our community and various Corporations to fund our search and rescue operation who without their help this could never happen.

  6. What area does Guardian SAR cover?

    Guardian SAR will initially stand up her operation and provide coverage on Eastern Coastlines of Florida. Our SAR model has the goal of being the premier search and rescue helicopter service in Southeastern United States

  7. Can I call you directly to launch the helicopter?

    No, you can not call Guardian SAR directly to request our rescue services. You will need to use the 911 service or the Channel 16 for the USCG and advise them you are in distress. They will evaluate the situation and look at the resources available. They will then choose the right resources to engage in the rescue and Guardian SAR may be the one they choose.
